PsychOS assessment guide

Manipulation Detection Assessment

This assessment explores your awareness of influence and manipulation-related patterns in interpersonal situations. It focuses on noticing pressure signals without assuming another person's intent.

Who this reflection may be useful for

Useful when you want to examine how you respond to guilt, urgency, mixed messages, boundary testing, social leverage, or repeated pressure.

What it examines

  • pressure and guilt cues
  • boundary testing and leverage
  • inconsistency and influence tactics

How to read the result

A high score may reflect strong vigilance, but vigilance can still produce false positives. A lower score does not mean you are easily manipulated; it may show that some pressure cues are less salient to you.

How to use the reflection

Separate observable behavior from inferred motive. Record what was said or done, what choice it pushed you toward, and whether the pattern repeated after you set a boundary.

Limits of the assessment

PsychOS assessments are structured self-reflection tools, not diagnostic instruments. They do not establish a mental-health condition, prove another person's motives, predict future behavior, or replace professional evaluation when one is needed.
